Bars & Restaurant Guide
BARS:
Le Garage Pub (Morzine)
WHERE IS IT? - On Route Des Putheys. From the town hall head out of town toward Les Gets on the main road (Route de La Manche) at the roundabout take the first exit and follow it 180 degrees back on yourself towards Les Prodains. Le Garage is on you right after the second or third corner. There is also a short cut if you are on foot.
OPENING TIMES - 5pm to 2am 7 days a week in season.
Review: - The Garage is a nice out of town venue and has a fantastic wine selection that is best enjoyed on the nights when there are no other events on i.e. Friday's, Saturday's & Sunday's. (Watch out for the cheeky scouse bar man!)
Tuesday & Thursday nights are normally crowded with seasonaires. Expect laser beams and loud dance DJ's, the music is normally far superior than the local night clubs, it fills up from 9 or 10pm onwards.
Monday Nights, the Garage often hosts live bands, see our what's on guide for up to date info.
The Cavern Bar (Morzine)
WHERE IS IT? - The Cavern Bar is in the middle of the village of Morzine, only 70m from the Tourist Office down the steps under Crepu Bar and next to Buddha Bar and Coyote Bar.
OPENING TIMES - 4pm to 2am 7 days a week in season. (Happy hours each day 4pm- 6pm)
Review: - Great night out for pure drinking and dancing fun, popular with both seasonaires & holiday makers. It starts getting very busy after about 10pm. The crowd tends to be younger and the music is very cheesy - but lets face it when you're on holidays sometimes it's exactly what you want!
Le Cafe Chaud (Morzine)
WHERE IS IT? - Just off the "Chemine De La Coutettaz " road, a two minute walk from the Tourist Office.
OPENING TIMES -
Review: - The most fantastic bizarrely flavoured home-made Rums in the whole world!!! The bar itself has a cosy bohemian feel to it. It is only open in the busy winter months and has DJ's and French or English live music acts on Tuesday's and Thursdays' respectively.
The Rhodos Bar / Restaurant (Morzine)
WHERE IS IT? - At the bottom of the Route De Bourg, the main one way road that goes down the hill from the centre of town. On the right just before you reach the Marie town hall.
OPENING TIMES - Open 7 days a week 365 days a year from 7:00am till 02:00
Review - In the centre of the old Morzine the Rhodos is on of the oldest bars in town, but two years ago it received a huge face lift. It now boasts a modern stylish restaurant serving fine traditional “gastro pub” food from full English breakfasts from 8am to an a la carte evening menu, not forgetting truly outstanding pizzas and gourmet burgers.
The other side the Rhodos bar, offers free wi-fi access between 7am and 4pm, all live sports on 4 plasma screen TV’s and a good range of fine wines and draught beers, plus shooters and cocktails.
Sunday morning can be spent flicking through the paper on the comfortable sofas tucking into a full English, before watching match of the day with your mates. From relaxed mornings to sport filled afternoons to jumping late nights with resident DJ, Eveson, a bar to please everyone.

Review: - In our humble opinion L'Etale normally wins hands down in terms of great all round restaurant. It is in the centre of town, the atmosphere is always welcoming and energetic, the portions are large and normally taste out of this fantastic and even better the prices are very reasonable for a holiday resort. It gets very busy and it is always wise to book in advance: +33 (0)4 50 79 09 29.

Review: - Amazing food, amazing service and great surroundings. From Savoyarde & Vegetarian to Asian and English and Italian dishes. We are yet to hear a bad word said about this restaurant. The prices are fair and reflect the quality of the food. (Keep your eyes open for the hippy fresco on the ceiling!) For evening meals book in advance: 04 50 74 00 74
