By Road from Geneva Airport (Swiss side):

Leave the airport - follow sign 'Toutes directions'. Follow the road straight. After you stop at the first set of traffic lights make sure you are in the left lane. Take a left once you see a sign for France (within the first few minutes of leaving the airport). Keep following these signs through to the boarder. Head towards Chamonix Mont-Blanc. SPEED CAMERA at marker 63.0 (110 km/h), near Bossey. First toll of EUR1.70. Take exit 19 toward Cluses. Pay toll of EUR1.80. Head towards Morzine signs. You will pass through Cluses, Tannings and Les Gets, Morzine is less than 40minutes away from the Motorway!
By Road from Geneva Airport (French side):

You first need to get your car! You enter Switzerland via passport control, collect your baggage, and come through into the arrivals hall (Swiss side). Once this is done go upstairs to the Departures level. Turn right at the top of the escalator, and go to the end of the arrivals hall, following signs for FRANCE. You then go through another passport control and back into French territory, where you will find the French check-in desks and car-hire counters.
Leave the airport following signs to Motorway A40 (blue sign). Pass through Saint-Genis Pouilly, Collonge and Bellegarde-sur-Valserine. Once you have reached the motorway take a toll ticket and head towards Geneva. Pay toll of EUR3.30 after just under an hour of leaving airport. As soon as you see signs for Chamonix Mont-Blanc follow them! SPEED CAMERA at marker 63.0 (110 km/h), near Bossey. Second toll of EUR1.70 Take exit 19 toward Cluses. Pay last toll of EUR1.80. Head towards Morzine signs. You will pass through Cluses, Tannings and Les Gets. Morzine is less than 40minutes away from the Motorway! |
